Formation of self-taught artistic training. He studied drawing in the interim International School of Art and Design, Altos de Chavon, 2001, La Romana, DR. He has participated in several courses and seminars, highlighting among others, the Basic Course of Ceramics, sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art and the Foundation for their outstanding Igneri given Pimentel and ceramists Thimo Wilfredo Torres, African Cultures seminar, taught by African scholars and Americans at the Museum of Modern Art in Santo Domingo, and the seminar "The Post-modernism in the narrative of Gustav Floubert, held at Maison de France, RD. 1997.

Was chosen in 2007 by the Museum of Modern Art in the Dominican Republic to represent the country at the University of Bologna, Argentina in the insurgent collective of painters, of which 2 finalists were selected to exhibit in Federculture in Rome, Italy. In Argentina Wilson Abreu was one of those American artists and their works chosen from that date are being exposed and passion for various cities in Italy where he received a first mention.
